French maison Hermès has launched a new purse. Just to carry an apple. What if the apple is too big? I have no idea. It was conceived to carry your apple around your neck, I guess to make people see how healthy you are. Another step into the current fashion's obsession: eco-chic. Environment-friendly fabrics, healthy diet (ok, that has always been a fashion's freaks obsession), and in general, adopt that attitude "I am worry about global warming and the future of our planet". In fact, the purse is made of lambskin. I will feel embarrassed next time I see someone carrying an apple in aluminium foil (obviously I am not doing that ever again).
I am still wondering if it's cool or it's not. And you?
La casa francesa Hermès ha presentado un nuevo bolso, por llamarlo de alguna manera. Está hecho a medida para poder llevar una manzana. ¿y si la manzana es más grande? pues mala suerte, supongo. Fue concebida para cargar una manzana alrededor del cuello, al más puro estilo i-pod. Supongo que realmente es una manera de mostrar a la gente lo saludable que es tu alimentación (y de paso lo bien que está tu cuenta corriente). Otro paso en la obsesión actual de la moda. el eco-chic. Materiales respetuosos con el medio ambiente, dieta sana (bueno, eso en la moda siempre ha estado ahí, quizás no sana, pero la dieta parece que ha nacido con la moda), y en general, todo lo que tenga que ver con demostrar al mundo que estás preocupado por el calentamiento global, y por el futuro de nuestra querida Tierra. En realidad el bolsito está hecho con piel de cordero. Tengo claro que la próxima vez que vea a alguien llevando una manzana en papel de aluminio/plástico me sentiré mal (y obviamente, después de ver esto tengo claro que yo no lo haré más).

No es cool. Me parece una patochada de a cien mil de esas que sacan de vez en cuando las grandes casas cuando se ponen ultrapijas: como el bolso para el tobillo de Chanel o los collares para perro de Gucci. Ya te digo, una patochada.

I am usually a fan of all things fashion forward and innovative, but i am inclined to say this is ridiculous...it is beautiful though...
hmmm, i actually like it! i think i'd just use it as a small purse, though. functionally speaking, this is kinda like some of the banana cases out there (so that one's banana doesn't get smushed).

I think it will look cool on your shoulder and you can carry small items in it instead of an apple (if you don't eat it like me!).
You can probably fit a lipstick, loose change and some small items. Pretty cool i think!

Reminds me of those small water-bottle purses that used to be cool, that is until we found out that water bottles are taking up too much space in landfills and killing our planet.
