Trend alert: vests

Vests are becoming a huge trend in Paris. They are very versatile and are valid for summer and also fall days. The best option is buying one in cashmere, soft and warm, it looks always good. GAP has nice vests starting at forty euros -they are not on sale-.

At Lafayette

*I bought this one by Maje

Hat: Panama
Dress and sandals: Quiksilver
Vest: Maje
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I'm toying with the idea of a vest for autumn. We'll see what's on offer.

I'm not such a huge fan of vests (on men) but the Maje vest you bought is sharp.

Yum! Loving the vest as a layering piece. . . I am always drooling over the "Waistcoats" section of topshop online!

Yay for vests!

Your outfit is so inspiring, I don't think I have seen a nicer vest combo in a long time. And the fedora is just gorgeous.

Those look quite nice. I'm usually a fan of the more fitted variety, but these are chic as well. Reminds of the vests so many Japanese girls sported when I was in Sapporo.
