This is how I see Haute Couture now, falling down. A luxury for only a few fortunates. The recession is huge, and despite of the fact that I consider HC pure creativity, seems to me like a bit inapropriated to even think about it.

Hombre, yo creo que los que compraban Alta Costura lo van a seguir haciendo...son los menos perjudicados por la crisis.

I think most couture customers are way too rich to be affected by the crisis anyway. I have a complete lack of morals when it comes to haute couture, I'd be devastated if it ever dissappeared.

I hope haute couture doesn't fall away, I consider it an art form. The economy is bad, but I don't think it means artists should stop creating and inspiring.

To everybody: I don't want HC to disappear or something like that, I just said that I feel bad thinking about it when so many people are having so much $$ trouble, but OF COURSE not meaning that HC should disappear!!
Es que nunca llevan zapatos de su talla, los suelos resbalan, si es que no sé como desfilan a veces con tanta seguridad!!!

lo mío es una teoría muy casera pero creo que cuando unos (muchos) se hunden... otros crecen (y mucho). y me sabe muy mal que se caigan las modelos. un abrazo enorme, XX!
