Miuccia Prada is said to be the mightiest person in fashion industry. She has it all. Until now, we were pretty conscious of the fact that Miu Miu is no longer Prada's little sister. Actually, I don't think it has ever been. Not only for the astronomic prices they expect you to pay f-remember, it is a second line-, but also because the style is totally different.
The last campaigns were for Kristen Dunst and Vanessa Paradis, they were perfect for the brand, because her personal style is quite similar to the brand's style. However, I can't help but wonder what Miu Miu and Katie Holmes have in common? The answer is N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

Katie looks like devil, and it doesn't look credible at all.

Yo creo que MiuMiu hace unos cinco años que se quitó de encima el estigma de ser una segunda firma, la propia Miuccia ha dicho últimamente en varias entrevistas que es una marca independiente y con vocación propia. Es decir, como si Miuccia tuviera dos firmas, Prada y MiuMiu. Cada una con su público, sus precios y sus cosas. Yo cada día lo veo menos como D&G que por mucho que queramos si que es una segunda linea.
Por cierto, detesto este nuevo MiuMiu desde el invierno 2004, un MiuMiu que se ha obsesionado con una determinada silueta y corte y de ahí no lo saca nadie, hasta echo de menos el MiuMiu minimal y austero de antes. Oye, la campaña me parece muy fea. Un saludo ;)

Yo es que eso de las actrices haciendo de modelos de cuerpo (de cara me sirve, porque muchas modelos de cara son un feto xD) me espanta, como dice JuliaM. Ni tienen el cuerpo, ni tienen la experiencia y además, tienen una imagen muy definida que lleva a fracasos como este de Miu Miu, cuando una modelo es más polivalente.
En fin. Me encanta el vestido verde de cuadros! ^^

I really don't like Kirsten Dunst at all, doing anything but...she did this better than Katie does. I think Katie is a beautiful woman and can do retro Hollywood like no one but this ad campaign is not good and not for her.
