The last post on Paris: Valentino Haute Couture

The waiting at the Valentino Haute Couture show in Paris is one of the best memories I have from that trip. Not only was it incredibly glamourous, but also we could see the models before the catwalk(how amazingly thin they were!). Carine Roitfeld passed by me together with Emmanuelle Alt. Anna Piaggi with the tag on her jacket (Dolce and Gabanna, by the way). I couldn't believe that nobody took photographs of Franca Sozzani (Vogue Italia). But honestly, the one I was expecting to see was Giovanna Battaglia. After seeing her at Chanel, I knew she'd come even more beautiful to Valentino show and I was right.

La espera en el desfile de Valentino en París es uno de los mejores recuerdos que tengo de ese viaje. No sólo fue increíblemente glamuroso, sino que también pudimos ver a las modelos pasar a maquillaje antes del desfile (y qué delgadísimas estaban, en directo asusta). Carine Roitfeld pasó a diez centímetros de mí con Emmanuelle Alt. Anna Piaggi, dando la nota, con la etiqueta de su chaqueta aún puesta (era Dolce y Gabanna, por cierto). Me pareció muy extraño que ninguno de los presentes hicieran fotos a la llegada de Franca Sozzani (directora de Vogue Italia). Pero sinceramente, a la que más ganas tenía de ver era a Giovanna Battaglia. Tras verla en el desfile de Chanel, sabía que vendría más guapa al de Valentino, y para mi gusto no me equivoqué. Y la foto describe muy bien esa sensación, no hay más que ver la cara del hombre con la chaqueta rosa.
