This French film is a great inspiration for this summer utilitarian trend. Set in the 1930s French Indochina, Catherine Deneuve plays the role of a rich rubber plantation's owner who adopts the young orphan Camille (played by Linh Dan Pham) after her wealthy parents' death in a plane crash. The plot is an unconventional love story between Deneuve, Camille and a French navy member. It won the Academy Award for the Best Foreign Language Film in 1992.

I like how the story is developed because At the outset of the film, Camille, a young girl from the Nguyen Dynasty , is adopted by Éliane Devries after her parents die in a plane crash. Madame Devries owns and operates a large rubber plantation in Indochina that employs many indentured laborers, that's perfect because after that the story will take different ways.m10m
